Aged in new and one year old oak barrels for ten months, this full bodied chardonnay from Arena Valley Vineyard is the Chardonnay drinkers Chardonnay. Supple and round with complex levels ranging from honeysuckle to butterscotch. The wet oak is present both in nose and palate. Enjoy this wine by itself or with roasted chicken, grilled salmon, or with a white cream pasta sauce.
This Riesling is made in an off-dry style. The grapes come from a special block planted in 1983 on top of a hill cobbled with ancient river rock, which produces an extremely small and concentrated crop. The resulting wine has intense flavors of lemon and mineral with great balanced acidity. Perfect with lighter style foods.
Our 2009 Riesling is a off-dry style. Firm apricot aromas and texture is nicely balanced by a steely acidity. Snake River Riesling is perfect with spicy Asian food, alongside chips and salsa, or your favorite salad.
Made from the grapes left to hang on the vine in our estate Arena Valley Vineyard, Late Harvest Riesling is our original dessert wine. Our 2010 has a limeade nose with a hint of minerals and a honey finish. Enjoy this wine with fruit based desserts or as a refreshing aperitif.

Our 2007 Barbera was aged in new and one year old barrels for twelve months giving it ample body and a hint of spice. This wine starts with plum and cherry aromas and finishes with a crisp fresh bing-cherry note. The higher natural acidity in this wine makes it perfect with tomato based dishes and sauces.
The grapes for this Rhone style wine are all grown on our estate vineyard, the Arena Valley Vineyard. Syrah is the backbone of this wine and gives it the jammy black currant flavor and licorice nose. The musty raspberry comes from the Grenache, and the Mourvedre adds a wild herb note. This wine works well with most BBQ dishes including spicy and tangy sauces.
Grapes for our Tempranillo are sourced from the Oregon side of Snake River Valley where the latitude, alluvial soils, and climate are similar to the Douro River Valley in Spain. Medium tannins and ten months of barrel aging balance the austere fruit flavors of plum, black cherry, and coffee bean. This wine goes well with grilled lamb, sausages, and paella.
Snake River 2006 Merlot is an easy drinking approachable wine. This Merlot with its lighter style entices you with violets on the nose along with fresh berries. Medium bodied with soft tannins and light oak beautifully balance the currant and blackberry notes on the palate.
Malbec traditionally is used in Bordeaux style blends much the way a chef uses an herb or spice to amplify a dish. Our 2009 Malbec has typical dark purple color with medium body and amply tannin. The earthy, woody characteristics make it rustic wine, but is balanced by jammy plum notes and a soft texture.

Snake River Reserve 2009 is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominated blend which brings black currant flavors and ripe tannins. The Merlot and Cabernet Franc add roundness and silky texture. The Malbec contributes violet aromas and inky purple color. A perfect compliment to red meats.
Because of its heat generating south facing hills and rocky soils, the Arena Valley Vineyard is ideally suited for Cabernet grapes which tend to ripen late in the season. Dark cherry and plum aromas are balanced with cedar and vanilla from 18 months in small barrels. Ample, well incorporated tannins provide a long lingering finish.
