This Riesling is made in an off-dry style. The grapes come from a special block planted in 1983 on top of a hill cobbled with ancient river rock, which produces an extremely small and concentrated crop. The resulting wine has intense flavors of lemon and mineral with great balanced acidity. Perfect with lighter style foods.

Our 2007 Barbera was aged in new and one year old barrels for twelve months giving it ample body and a hint of spice. The grapes for this Rhone style wine are all grown on our estate vineyard, the Arena Valley Vineyard. Syrah is the backbone of this wine and gives it the jammy black currant flavor and licorice nose. The musty raspberry comes from the Grenache, and the Mourvedre adds a wild herb note. This wine works well with most BBQ dishes including spicy and tangy sauces.

Grapes for our Tempranillo are sourced from the Oregon side of Snake River Valley where the latitude, alluvial soils, and climate are similar to the Douro River Valley in Spain. Medium tannins and ten months of barrel aging balance the austere fruit flavors of plum, black cherry, and coffee bean. This wine goes well with grilled lamb, sausages, and paella.

Malbec traditionally is used in Bordeaux style blends much the way a chef uses an herb or spice to amplify a dish. Our 2009 Malbec has typical dark purple color with medium body and amply tannin. The earthy, woody characteristics make it rustic wine, but is balanced by jammy plum notes and a soft texture.
